About the event
The deadline is approaching. Is your organisation ready?
On 7 June 2026, EU member states must have transposed the new Pay Transparency Directive into national law. This directive introduces far-reaching obligations for every employer in Europe — and the consequences of non-compliance are significant.
What exactly will change?
In recruitment, employers will be required to disclose the salary or salary range in job postings or before the first interview. Asking candidates about their previous pay history will be prohibited.
For employees, a new right emerges: they will be entitled to request information about their own pay level and the average pay of colleagues in comparable roles — broken down by gender.
Reporting obligations apply to organisations with 100 or more employees, with the first reporting deadline in 2027 for companies with 150+ staff.
